Cousins are Different Flowers From the Same Garden!

One cool fall day in October, 4 crazy women gathered 9 spunky kids, to do what they love least. Take pictures! Of course, Rachel, Lindsey, Demi, Maddie, and Josh did great and actually behaved as much as they could. I would even venture out and say that they had fun.

However, the 4 youngest of the bunch did not enjoy themselves as much. Isaac and Lexi became irritated and uncooperative at the end of the session. Malakai was at the beginning of his first ear infection, and he was not the happy go-lucky kid that he usually is. Jenna didn't seem to care about the commotion going on around her, she slept during most of the 2 hr. ordeal.

In the end, the pictures turned out great and really captured their personalities.

Best Buds!

I chose to take Kai to visit his best bud Cody, who is 4 months older. Cody didn't get the memo that they were suppose to be buddies, he wanted nothing to do with Kai. Cody decided he would only get close enough to take a toy away. Finally, Cody decided it wasn't that bad to share his toys, so he got a little closer, then they were sitting next to each other sharing more than just toys....


Cody decided that Malakai's pacifier looked pretty tasty. He would pull Kai's pacifier right out of his mouth, examine it, then give it back (not always in the right direction). At one point Cody examined his and Kai's pacifier at the same time, deciding that his looked more appealing. As you can see Kai was not fond of this game.

Kai's cruisin!

At 6 months old, Kai got his first look of life outside of Utah! The Ulrich family went cruisin to the eastern caribbean.

• 1st stop: Half moon cay- white sandy beaches and warm water. Kai's first time in the sand.

• 2nd stop: St. Thomas- The water was so warm, it was tuff getting relief from the sun.

• 3rd stop: Puerto Rico- Gotta love the sights, sounds, and smells of the rain forest!

And, last but not least....

• Grand Turks- Lovin the scuba and relaxation.

Kai was the star of the ship, he had many admirer's (especially the perfume lady).
